Homework for Periods 1,2,3

Page 198 #8 - 20. To solve the equations you multiply both sides by the recipricol, the upside down fraction.


For Periods 4,5,6
Page 200, #1-33. Add the exponents when they are multiplying each other. MULTIPLY THE EXPONENTS when it is the power of a power.

Example: (33)2 = 36. The 3's are multiplied by two.

Example: (34)x(34) = 38. Add the exponents
