The first set of problems asks you to find the equation that goes with the picture. The first picture (#12) shows a line with a shaded in circle on -5, and then the shading goes off to the right.
All your inequalities will start with the letter "x". For #12, you know the shading goes to the right, and the circle is shaded in, so it must start off "x &ge ". And since the line starts at -5, the inequality must be x &ge -5
Be sure you finish the homework, tomorrow we will do some review of these and equations.
