4 weeks left

Tomorrow will be the football carnival, and Mr. Brzenski will not be there. Ben (my son) is sick, so Mr. Brzenski will have to take care of him.

Enjoy the movie (cartoons) and I will look forward to next week, when we will be continuing probability and working on a small project.

15 week grades

The 15 week grades are the current grades posted. I would like to thank those of you who raised your grades over the last 5 weeks. There were 11 people who raised their grades from an F to a D. Most of those were in period 4. Keep up the work, so that way you can pass at the 20 week report card and avoid summer school.

Even though the work for the nest 5 weeks will be easier, you still have to finish it. Do not slack off thinking you can skip work. It is still graded, and still is part of your total grade.

Tuesday and Homework

Todays homework is to finish the fraction worksheet. Please remember to bring it tomorrow because we will review it in class. Tomorrow we will review percents and how to find some simple answers to simple problems.

Remember: If you can eliminate two answers, you odds of getting the right answer have gone from 25% to 50%. Eliminate before you guess.

CST Sample Question

If you want to see what the test is like, you can click on the link to the right that says "CST SAMPLE QUESTIONS". There you will find 80 sample questions that look exactly like the test. Try a few. See which ones you can do and which ones you cannot do. Ask me questions about the ones you cannot do. At this time, I have taught you everything in this test, so you should be able to do everything in here.

Good luck, and study for the test.

The Grades

The grades are current for this week. It includes the graphs and the tracking sheet. I congratulate those of you who have raised their grades fro an F to a D. Keep going so you can get a C at the semester.
