Homework for all periods

There is NO HOMEWORK :) You turned in tracking sheets to be included on this progress report.

Check the links to the right after 4:00pm to see what grade you will have on the 6 week progress report.

Thursday 3/12/09

Homework for periods 4,6,7

Wednesday 3/11/09

Homework for periods 6,7
Find the y-intercept from the graphs we did in class.

Homework for periods 1,2,3
Graph the 8 equations you were given at the end of class.
If you missed it, here they are.

1) y = 2x +3
2) y = x - 1
3) y = x + 3
4) y = 3x
5) y = 6x - 3
6) y = 2x
7) y = 4x - 6
8) y = 2x + 1

Homework for ALL PERIODS!!!!!
(funny how this works)
Find the y-intercept on BOTH sides of the worksheet from today.

Y-Intercept should be written in point form, (0,x), where x is the intercept. No fractions, no single digits.

Monday Homework

Homework for periods 1,2,3
In the book, page 300, do numbers 1-14. Substitute into the given functions

When you see f(x) = 2x + 3, then f(0). This just means substitute the "0" in for x, and say what you get.

If you see f(5), substitute "5" in for x. Your equation becomes 2(5) + 3 = 13. So f(5) = 13.

Homework for periods 4,6,7
Page 400, do #10-15, and #22-29. Be sure to write the question for #22-29
