Int 1 Math: You turned in the assignments from the past week, Magic math, section 1.3 questions, and section 1.4 questions. The last two things are from the website. Skills: We found all possible sums of single digit numbers, serving our goal of memorizing the addition tables. We also played a new game at www.mathplayground.com/logic_sum/points.html. 3D Design: We are working on understanding the 3D printers, blueprints, and more to make our first thing the Nameplate. Remember you have to finish the articles and answer the questions and pass the safety test before you can print.

Advanced Math Thursday Friday Assignments

Watch the videos below.  Make sure you write down everything I write down, mostly.  Then try the poroblem sets.  Do the problems on seperate sheets of paper, and SHOW ALL YOUR WORK.  Not every answer works out to be a whole number.  If it is not a whole number, leave it as a fraction please.  If you finish these before the end of Friday, you can go on mangahigh.com and try the teacher challenge.  If you forgot your password, they are in a blue packet on the computer cart.

1)  3(2x + 6) = -30

2) -2(x - 12) = 10

3) 10(4x + 5) = 17

4) 3x + 2(2x + 1) = 51

5) 12 = -2(-5y + 9)

6) 3(4z + 10) + 3z = -30

7) 6x - 3(2x + 8) = -24

8) 2n - 3(5n + 4) = 1

9) -5x + 2(-3x - 9) = -40
