Homework for period 4: Finish the search and shade

Period 6,1: Finish the worksheet of exponents, just the top half.

Period 7: finish graphing the 9 inequalities on the back side.

Wednesday 2/24/10

Homework for all classes: Finish the search and shade in class, both sides, shaded in.

Algebra only has to do one side.

Tuesday 2/23/10

Homework for period 1,3,4: Finish the 12 graphs from class. Make any equation you want, just need to have different slopes. Test next time we meet on slope, graphing, and finding the equations.


Homework for period 2: Finish the 10 system of equations from class. Test Wednesday will be the same. 10 questions. 1 word problem. All whole number answers.

Homework for period 3,4: finish graphing worksheet page

Period 6: The set of 12 graphs, finding the equation. you have a quiz on Wednesday for graphing, finding slope and y-intercept.


Period 7: Finish the 10 problems from the board. Make sure you know the answers. All the answers are whole numbers, use that to you advantage. Quiz on Wednesday. 10 problems. 1 word problem.

Wednseday 2/17/10-

Homework is kinda messed up today.

Period 6, 1: Finish the slope worksheet. Many of you finished it in class. Period 1 this is your only homework, as you have earned a movie to watch tomorrow.

Period 7,2: Finish problems 1-8 on solving systems of equations with addition. We will do more tomorrow, and learn other techniques for solving by combining equations.

Tuesday 2/16/10

I was not there yesterday, so there was no homework. Be sure to turn in your benchmarks so you can get the make-up points for that test.

Period 1: Finish solving the problems you missed on the benchmark. Either SHOW WORK or WRITE 1 SENTENCE about why you got the wrong answer.

"I picked A instead of B" is not a good reason why you got the problem wrong.

Homework for period 1,3: Finish the graphs from the function in class (page 146)

Period 2: Page 86 #1-10


Period 6: Page 418 #9-19

Period 7: Finish #7-12 on the handout from yesterday (solving systems of equations)

Monday 2/8/10

Homework for periods 1,3,4: Page 418 #9-19. Solving equations. You don't need a calculator (although they look hard they all work out real nice).

Period 2: Finish the algebra worksheet from Friday, #7-12.

Friday 2/5/10

Homework for period 3,4,6: Finish the proportion word problems. You have to show the proportions that you write and the units used in order t oget full credit

Period 2,7: Finish up to problem number 7 on the worksheet on solving systems with substitution.


Be sure you do all the homework from this week, as your grade for the next semester will start of with this homework grade (Tracking Sheet #16). If you get an A, thats what you start with. If you get an F, thats what you start off with.

Thursday 2/4/10

Homework for periods 4,6: Page 222 # 1-8, find the unit rate. Similar to mondays homework, find out the fraction where the denominator is one ( x/1).

Homework for period 7: Page 279 #15 - 18. Graph on the back of your paper from class.

Wednesday 2/3/10

Homework for period 6,7: There was no homework because we took the benchmark

Homework for period 1,3: Bring back the proportion worksheet we did in class.

Homework for period 2: Page 279 #15-18, graph these on the graph paper we started in class. If you need graph paper, look at the links on the right and find the one that says "6 mini graphs" and download it to print.

Tuesday 2/2/10

No homework because we were taking the benchmark. Tomorrow when you come to class, I will have your final grades printed out so you can see what you got.

Monday 2/1/10

Homework for periods 1,3,4,6: Finish finding the unit rates for groups 2,3,4 on the unit rate worksheet. If you did not finish the graph, this is also the time to finish those.


Homework for period 2,7: Page 242 #34-39. Graph those on the back of the graphs from class.
