Find the y-intercept on BOTH sides of the worksheet from today.

Y-Intercept should be written in point form, (0,x), where x is the intercept. No fractions, no single digits.

In the book, page 300, do numbers 1-14. Substitute into the given functions

When you see f(x) = 2x + 3, then f(0). This just means substitute the "0" in for x, and say what you get.

If you see f(5), substitute "5" in for x. Your equation becomes 2(5) + 3 = 13. So f(5) = 13.

I have been out sick for multiple days from last week. Most classes had only two days of homework, but period 1 and period 4 had 3 days of homework.
