Tuesday 1/27/09
There is NO HOMEWORK for periods 1-4, because we were doing benchmark testing. Thanks you to all classes for trying your hardest on the problems.
I will try to go over some of the problems tomorrow or the day after in class.
Thursday and Friday we will be auditing our folders and making sure all the appropriate grades are in each of our reports. I will print progress reports and you will check them with work you have in your folders to make sure I have put the correct grade in. With 6 classes, and 40 assignments, and 180 students, I probably made SOME mistake in those 5000 grades. So we will check to find them.

Grade changes
The grades are posted and are current for 1/23/09. The format is different. I was unable to put up the full spreadsheets because each class was approaching 1MB and that was too much for people to have to download. So now there is just your ID number, your grade, and how many points you have in the class.
If you want more detailed info, come see me after school and I can print out your entire grade.
The grading scale is as follows.
A > 90%
B > 80%
C > 70%
D > 60%
F < 60%
citizenship varies, but A/E, B/G, C/S, D/N, F/U. This can go higher for extra effort, or lower for excessive tardies (see tardy policy).

To find 10%, move the decimal 1 place to the left. Then use that 10% to find 20%, 30%... and so on
For 80
10% = 8
so
20% = 16
30% = 24
40% = 32......
