Bring back the fraction circles we did in class.
Cut out all the pieces at home and bring them back tomorrow. Please keep them all together. If you lose a piece, you have to make a whole new circle. Cut out the wedges too, not just the circle.

Finish page 60, changing decimals to fractions.
Hint #1
Remember, when a decimal as a number in front, like 3.12 or 4.75. This is the whole number part.
3.12 will equal 3 and 12/100. 4.75 will equal 4 and 75/100
Same for fractions
6 2/3 will be 6. and the decimal will be whatever 2/3 is.

For both groups, equivalent fractions are jsut fractions that simplify to the same fraction
1/2 = 2/4 = 3/6 = 4/8 .......
Even fractions like 4/11 = 8/22 = 12/33 = 16/44 = 20/55 = 24/66......
just multiply the numerator and denominator by some common number to change the num ers but not the value of the fraction.
