I have made a CST Cheat sheet. You cannot take this into the test with you, but there is no rule about memorizing this basic sheet, and then copying it down on your test booklet when you get it.

Monday
Homework for today is to finish the six graphs and their reflections. Make whatever you want. It has to look different every time you reflect it.
The grades that are up are the current grades for the semester. Some of you have improved thanks to the parent conferences. Keep up the good work, we only have about 10 weeks to go.

Me Gone
I have been gone the last three days because my son is sick. Use this time to catch up on doing extra credit so that when I come back we can continue doing our review for the CST. Hopefully I will be back tomorrow (Thursday). Sorry for there being no tutoring. If I am back on Thursday, we can have tutoring then.

Grades
The grades will be put up on Monday, because I will be out of town and I have not finished grading the tests yet. I would like to thank periods 4 and 6 for the HUGE improvement over the past week. There were 5 people who raised their grades from an F to a D just in those two classes. I encourage you to do the extra credit. If you do all 8 it is 40 extra credit points.

A couple of things before tonight.
1) equations like y=3, are straight lines to the side.
2) y=x+3, if there is nothing in front of the x, the slope is 1/1
Do your best to graph the equations, tomorrow we are going to review absolute value, |-3| = 3, and all that. The test on Friday will be on graphing equations, finding slope, and absolute value.

Friday, the Quiz, and the grades
Grades are up and current for today, 4/11/2008. If you look at the far column on the grade sheet, you will see your score on the test. The score is out of a possible 7 points. Here is the break-down;
A = 7
B = 6
C = 5
D = 4
F < 4

OK, so it has been a while since I posted anything. I apologize and am sorry. The homework for today is solving the equations.
Points are always listed as (x, y). The first number is x, the second number is y. Substitute into the equations and see if the equation makes sense. If it does, good, the point is an answer. If it doesn't, then the point is not an answer.
