Why didn't anyone tell me the calendar was not up. Its fixed now, so you can see everything we are going to do until break.

Wednesday and the SUB

I was out Wednesday, and left you in the hands of a substitute teacher. Let me say, I received one of the BEST reports from a sub ever. Comments of "Well - Behaved", "Wonderful class", "Good class"... and of course, "Overall, your classes were lovely".

I was thinking of doing work even until the last day before break, but now, since everyone was so good, Friday, 19th, will be movie or cartoon day. No work, just relaxing.

My thank you to being so well behaved.

Wednseday 12/3/2008

Homework for periods 1,2,3

Finish the multiplication page we started in class. There will be 2 tests on Friday. 1 is the notebook quiz, the second is a test on adding, subtracting, and multiplying fractions. We have done over 300, so everyone should do pretty well.

Homework for periods 6,7

Worksheet #3, do the 1st, 2nd, 5th and 6th rows on the sheet. Subtracting is just like adding, you have to find a common denominator.

I have given some progress reports out. For period 1, I have corrected the missing assignment that show on your reports. Homework Tracking sheet #2 will still show because some students were in my other classes, so they have it. Do not worry, if you have no points listed, it is not counted in your overall for the grade.

Tuesday 12/2/08

Homework for Periods 1,2,3
Backside of the worksheet from class. Do the first four rows. It is just like the front side. Finda common denominator, and then subtract. Simplify if you can

Do worksheet #3, the 1st, 2nd, 5th, and 6th rows. Find a common denominator and subtract.

Monday 12/1/08

Homework for all periods

Find a common denominator before subtracting or adding the problems.

If you can't find one, multiply the two denominators together. Its not the easiest, but it will always work.
